Ari is an accomplished attorney with deep experience in technology, government, and regulatory law. Most recently, he served as an in-house counsel at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led legal support for AWS’s Betting & Gaming and Telecommunications businesses. In that role, he managed global regulatory expansion, negotiated enterprise cloud agreements, and developed compliance programs for cloud-based gaming and telecom services across U.S. and international markets.

Prior to that, he supported AWS’s Global Public Sector Professional Services team, advising on privacy policies, generative AI adoption for government customers, and contributing to the development of responsible AI practices. He previously served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he was as an Assistant General Counsel at the United States Military Academy at West Point and as an Assistant General Counsel at the 101st Airborne Division, where he advised on ethics, privacy, investigations, and national security matters.

He is a member of the Washington State Bar, fluent in five languages, and actively involved in the legal and privacy community through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the South Asian Bar Association (SABA), and the University of Oklahoma Alumni Advisory Board. He holds a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a B.A. in International Relations.
